Does a single player world created with 1.7.10 update with the changes of 1.8?
If it does, I would guess that I would have to travel beyond what i explored to find some of the new items like rabbits. Am I correct?
The world will not updatet automaticly, only new generatet Chunks will have the new Animals on spawn.
But u can trick Minecraft to spawn the animals with the MC-Edit Programm. (www.mcedit.net)
!!!!! BEFOR use tools on u world make allways a backup of them !!!
- Load u world in MC-Edit.
- Mark the Land (In Chunkview mode) u want to have to repopulate (New spawn Animals, Trees, Flowers, Minerals)
- Press "REPOP"
- Press "Ctrl+S" to save the world.
- Close MC-Edit
Start u Minecraft and have fun. (Minecraft will spawn animals in the Selectet Chunks if u wisit them)
No need for something as PIA as using an editor. Thanks for the offer.
I found a rabbit now I need to find the slime MOB to kill for slime balls so I can make leads. They are too far to try to lure them in with just a carrot in hand.
