So, I've been uber excited for 1.8 coming out. Finally, the day has come!
I download it and everything, and this happens:
It completely freezes up on me when the main menu loads up and, as you can see, the background of the main menu is all screwed up.
Seeing how there's nothing I can do, I just click out of it and get this in my launcher:
