Basically the problem is that when I play minecraft on 1.8 I get huge fps drops when I move. I usually average about 40-45 fps on the highest settings with a 10 chunk render distance. When the fps drop occurs it becomes about 5-8 fps. I have no idea what causes this as my pc is above average (see specs below) I have no mods installed and this really makes anything I try to do much harder
Also when looking around while holding still I get no drop in fps. And in the first 1.8 pre release I experienced everything as perfectly as possible, after the second pre release the problem started to occur.
I seem to be having the same problems, I made a customized world although only bumped up the ore spawning a bit. My computer has 32 bit Java and the same graphics card as you. I get about 50-60 when staying in a small area but if I try to move out of that area I start getting like 5 fps and mobs lag A LOT. I've never had problems with Minecraft's performance until now. I have all graphics on the lowest. Hoping Mojang actually does something about this cause I've recently started to play again and 1.8 seems fun but It's pretty much unplayable right now

Try allocating more memory. If you dont know how:
Open minecraft, click edit profile and check JVM Arguments then type: -Xmx500M -Xms500M This might work, if not it could just be a graphical error if so update your drives. If you have no luck, get a new CPU or graphics card.
Do I replace all the text in the JVM box or add that after? I've tried replacing it before with that when I was googling the problem but if I replace the whole thing java doesn't launch the game it just quits. Okay ignore that first part, I got that text to work and now I have more ram for it however I still get 20-40 fps when moving/loading chunks or even standing still by fire. Maybe this is just a problem with 1.8 because I have never had fps problems with games let alone minecraft until now
