I am currently having a problem that has started about two days ago. My whole computer will freeze whenever I start playing minecraft. It is a modded 1.6.4 version. The freezing started ever since one of my worlds has become corrupt (I don't know how). I deleted the world and started new ones, but every time I start playing, it will freeze after about 10 seconds. I've tried allocating more RAM into Java (32bit) and minecraft. I don't know if I should download everything again. Also my Windows system is 64bit, so should I try downloading Java 64 instead or is Java 32 alright to use?
I installed Java 64 and the JVM Arguments haven't changed because I downloaded the launcher again. It is set to (-Xmx1G -Xmn128M) Should I try setting it to 2g or keep it the way it is? Also my computer has 8gb of RAM, so I would assume I have plenty of space.
