Can't play minecraft after I updated to Windows 8

Hi guys, title says it all. I used to be able to play MC, until after I updated to Windows 8. My graphics card is ATI Radeon 3100 graphics. It said I needed to update, even though I was able to play it before with the same graphics card? Please help, I don't know what to do. Thank you

Yeah, I was planning to anyways sooner or later The new interface is weird and I'd rather have just have a normal desktop. Thanks I give you this

Did you update to Windows 8.1? I'm not sure if that helps though...

Windows 8 sucks, Windows 8.1 is rather good actually. I use it and would not want to go back now.

Anyways, Maker sure all your drivers are up to date and you have the latest version of Java installed. After installing a new OS you might just need to reinstall your drivers and Java.

Alright, I'll try reinstalling before I go back to 7. I might try out 8.1 someday though.:P

If your using windows 8 then install

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy2&os=Windows 8 - 64 for 64bit os

If your using windows 8.1 then their are no AMD drivers as your card is old, and they have not made any for it

Sorry for late post :/ I tried installing it, but failed when it said the display card (or display driver, something like that). So what do I do?
