So I'm trying to run Minecraft on a different computer, but it's not working. I'm just running it from the .dmg, I didn't put it in the Applications folder. Do I have to?

This computer has a firewall and runs FileVault, so can I not run Minecraft with those security settings?

Well, as a rule i don't give support to apple users, but i'm in a good mood today. Do you have some sort of parental controls on? a anti-virus? be sure to try to run it with privileges.
