Okay so I was playing some survival multiplayer in 1.8pre3 and some one asked me to tell them which banner I like the best and I couldn't see anything! it was just blank white. I later went onto creative and started playing around with the banners and all of them where white and I did dye them I'm not stupid I know how they work. my java is 64 bit and I'm on windows 7 I hope this is enough information I could provide some pictures if you want although I don't think it would help very much, I have googled this for a answer but didn't find anything so any ideas of whats wrong is appreciated

same thing is happening to me. Have u fixed it yet or still having it happen?

Still happening I thought it might just be a bug and it would be fixed for 1.8 release but sadly its still doing it

I had this problem as well, here is how I fixed it for my machine.

step 1-update java to newest version

step 2-unistall old versions of java

the banners were working properly when I played after that

It wont work for me either any one help plz?

I haven't logged in to this site in a while, but I logged in just to say that I'm having the same problem. It's really bugging me because I had all these ideas and then "wait why is it still white....."

Kaiver I tried your suggestion - turned out I did need an update, then deleted the old version, but no luck.

Redownloading jar file didn't work either.

I gave your suggestion a try as well, Kaiver17. Got a little help and instruction from my particularly technical savvy Uncle, then proceeded through it carefully. Worked for me. thank you for helping, it's been bugging me for a while. Creating cool banners helps make awesome worlds.
