Hey guys i got a problem where my minecraft escape key is not working, i am currently using windows 8 and i couldn't figure out why it has happened, i cant even play minecraft anymore, when i open my inventory and press escape it doesn't work at all, even with my inventory closed, i have a new thinkpad x240 which just came in yesterday.
Did you go to options and set the keys. The keys might have not set correctly /via launching game.
They never set an option for the pausing of the game. Try deleting your .minecraft folder and relaunch the game if it helps. If that doesn't work, submit a bug report @ http://bugs.mojang.com/
