I just got my version of Minecraft. No matter how many times I punch a block, even something like wood or dirt, it won't break. Things like grass and saplings do, though.
Seasoned minecraft vet here. The blocks have a 1-5 second delay before they disappear. The delay is different each time I launch. Quitting to menu doesn't change it.
Single player. And I found a fix. No amount of time or relaunching changes the bug but if i hike far enough, the block lag seems to diminish. Maybe halfway to the horizon.
