So when I got to allocate for ram the line of code is

-Xmx1G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CMSIncrementalMode -XX:-UseAdaptiveSizePolicy -Xmn128M

and when I change the -Xmx1g to 2G and I try to play that profile an error occurs and says"

"Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.

Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit."

I am running Minecraft 1.7.10 with Optifine 1.7.10 HD U A4/

Windows 8.1, 64-bit, Intel i5, 8GB ram.

Please Help!

You are running 32bit Java and providing it with illegal parameters. You can't go much over 1.5G unless you install and use 64 bit Java.

then how do I get 64-bit java? cause there is no download for it.
