Well, when I get a CPU, It's gonna be Intel. Unless somewhere I get a super deal on an AMD APU, I feel better with an Intel. Also, when I get one, (Which won't be for awhile) what Intel CPU would you recommend? a Core i5?

So, If I were to get a completely new PC, an i5 would work with a GTX 760? Right now I have an i3, Would a GTS 760 not work in that? I'm already planning on buying a new 500-600 Watt PSU

Oh, Alright! If I do get the GPU, it won't be long until I get an i5 so it "Shouldn't" be a problem.
Now, again, I have a few different questions; Could it damage the GPU or CPU if I put in it in this PC? About cooling, do I need to buy something too keep the GPU from overheating, or does it mostly stop itself? For an i5, will mostly any i5 work? Thanks for the help!!
I'll go research the CPU's. And AMD cards can go in with Intel Processors correct?
EDIT: If I were to switch entirely to AMD, could you point me into the direction of a AMD APU that's about what an i5 is for Intel? And also, a good AMD GPU.
After looking, I think I can get an AMD easier, more places have them, and they seem less expensive.
If you can't find it, look up Classic Shell. It's a program that adds old style Start Menu to Windows 8/8.1 (Win 7 too), that works almost identical to the one in Win 7 or XP. Highly configurable.
It's still Win 8, but it's more tolerable.
Alrighty! Is it true that after you buy(99.99) and install Windows 7, you can't change out the Hard drive/GPU unless you buy it again?

Depends on the license. If you get an OEM license (which should be the cheapest anyway) you can change any part of the PC except for the motherboard without getting any headaches from the activation system.
Okay. I was just reading the reviews for the Windows 7 OEM sold by Windows on Amazon, and some people were saying that after a few weeks, it said that it was not an authentic windows license and other people were saying that even though it said OEM, when they took out the Hard drive, they had to buy again.

Thanks so much for the help!!! As I said I'm saving my money, and will be getting a GPU and PSU within, ehhhh maybe a month. Unfortunately I can't really get a new computer, (CPU/Motherboard) until mid next year
Also, with that guide you gave me, would a Geforce GTX760 run in it if I got that Rosewill Capstone 450W Power supply?
Depends. AMD stuff usually has good price/performance ratio. It also has "issues". Not that Nvidia doesn't (let's not mention Intel).
Some examples from what I heard lately. Radeons work better with extra big resolutions. Anything above 1080p really, Nvidia supposedly has trouble there. Higher end Nvidia cards are usually stronger then AMD, but the cost ... AMD cards are better for coin mining.
If you ever plan on using Minecraft shader mod, it's optimized for Nvidia. The same goes for Linux. AMD Linux drivers are rather poor compared to Nvidia.
As for the GTX 760's power usage. It takes on average around 170W. So a 450W PSU should handle it, 500W recommended to have some leeway.
I do want Shaders on MC, and I was already "Moslty" planning on getting an Nvidia before looking around, So that's perfect. Do you think the GTX 760 is the best for 200-250$?
