Hello can someone please help me out, so here's my setup. Minecraft 1.7.5
Sonics ethers SUES 1.01 Ultra DOF Shaders
R3D Craft Smooth Realism x512 Texture Pack
Shader Resolution 2.000 Everything else default.
The game starts out with decent FPS then slowly degrades over time, Alos a huge issue when i switch to a pickaxe or axe, door etc. the game freezes for a long while like 3 minutes then loads again with 15-25 less average FPS, same if i load the game while having an axe or etc. in my hand the FPS is terrible 19-25.
Can someone please help?

Dude 512x and shaders combined are gona lag your computer really bad especially with the shader being ultra you should download optifine thats the only thing i can think of or allocate more ram usage
Yeah I tried that and using openGL too, my 780ti and 4790k should be able to handle this no prob, especially with the pickaxe and other item switching freeze and lag issue, it cant just be not enough performance i know there is something wrong.
Someone does not understand computer hardware or how ram allocation works problem, that is fine.
First, you are trying something no machine can do. Second, never allocate more than 3GiB heap space to the client or you will get lag from Garbage Collection. Third, 512X resource pack and shaders. That is your problem. Because most do not know how textures are scaled in Minecraft in general. If you want to use a resource pack to replace textures that have Normal maps, do not go above 128X or more less 64X. Shaders you should be fine with 1X to 2X res, you are causing these problems yourself. PEBKAC problem here, Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair.
I am not being hateful or nothing, but it is sorta humored how many a times people buy ridiculous computer hardware, but know not the limits it allows or how to properly use it and expect excelling abilities of it. So I am giving direct response to such.
More simplified easier answer. Lower your texture pack to 64X or 128X and also I would say use SEUS 10.1 Shaders Normal pack with the suggested Texture pack it has. Though any work, just you must ensure it has the Normal Maps as well to fully work and look good. Also Shaders resolution I really wouldn't go above 1.5X. Could get by with 2X, but that is gamble.
You should be humored of yourself for being humored of me, most people don't know everything about minecraft, we are not all nerds for minecraft, which is why I came here, not to b bitched out by somebody whos mad because someone doesn't know everything about minecraft.
It seems as you are wrong aswell, x256 textures work absolutely with no problem. x512 textures work at 29-40 FPS UNTIL i switch to a pickaxe or shovel, axe etc. then it freezes and lags from there.
So I know you are wrong because i do have x512 texture pack, at x2 resolution scale and shaders, but the problem is the item switching lag.
Yep just confirmed it using SUES 1.01 r3dcraft x256+photrealismx256 @4K Res upscaled and no optifine 6GB dedicated running at constant 34-46 FPS no issue and you totld me I had to do all this other sorts of stuff when I didnt need to, so using the x512 texture pack runs at 24-33 constant
