So for quite some time now I can not Minecraft because of a error in downloading the files. The problem started a while back when I was playing with some friends and noticed I had no audio for the game; when I tried redownloading Minecraft it no longer worked. I've looked around for fixes for a long time now and none have worked. I'm using Avast for an antivirus, and I've tried downloading with Avast disabled, windows Firewall off, resetting my internet connection, running in administrator, etc.

Yes, but as I said, I tried running minecraft with it disabled so I'm not sure if thats the issue.
