I purchased Minecraft yesterday and when i go to open it i get the error shown below. I have tried multiple "fixes" posted around the community and still have had no luck. Any help?

Please fix the error and restart.

Reinstall Java. Make sure you are using the x64 version of it.

Did that, didnt work.

Do you use an antivirus? It may be blocking the launcher from internet access. Try disabling it.

And if this doesn't work, try opening the launcher as administrator.

Tried both of those options and nothing. Not to sure what to do at this point.

Is Minecraft allowed through the Windows Firewall?

It might be called javaw.exe

Still no luck.
