hi guys. i've got a problem here. i havent been playing minecraft for several months because of...... stuff

anyway, last time i played was in version 1.7.2 (and this is the last version that works properly right now)

now, any version above 1.7.2 shows up like this when i start it up



i cant find why this is happening on later version of minecraft.
and it also seems to be, it's only a graphical bug, random clicking around points out to me that the buttons are actually still there, just invisible.

i've tried different launcher, official and non official ones. none worked, and shows the same results

of and those wanting to tell me "update your driver"
im running on an old laptop
a 2008 Lenovo
Core2Duo T8100 @2.1Ghz
3GB or ram
X3100/intel GMA965(it's the same thing just different name) for the GPU (an IGP).
and the 'latest' driver is like 3-4 years old...

is this an official bug? or am i doing something wrong?
