I'm playing on the Pixelmon mod for Minecraft and I just recently started having this issue. The game will be running fine then for some reason I won't be able to interact with objects, can't open chests, use ovens, pick up things, etc. I can mine blocks and they disappear but the block doesn't drop anything. I tried allocating more ram for Minecraft to use but it doesn't seem to have any affect so I don't think memory is the issue. Sometimes the game recovers in a few minutes and lets me pick up things but sometimes I have to shut it down and forcefully close Minecraft and restart.
I am playing singleplayer, not on a server. CPU being overloaded? Usually Minecraft is the only thing I have running, maybe with some music in the background, but my music never stops or lags even when Minecraft does this.
True, but it doesn't even lag when it happens. I'll usually be in an area that's already loaded, picking Apricorns for example, and then the next second I won't be able to pick them up. I have a CPU usage meter on my desktop that rarely goes above 45% when I'm in already loaded areas. Is there a way I can better test if it is the CPU being overloaded?
