For the last week I have been getting these crashes after 10-15 minutes of playing. It would start to lag slowly and then build till I would crash to desktop. I hit F3 and watch my fps and memory usage and notice it would do this "cycle" type activity of starting at 5% and slowly build up to about 30% then drop back down to 10% then build to 40% and repeat this till it used all the ram I had allocated to minecraft, which is 4 gigs. Each time it hit its peak I would drop from 400 fps to about 150 fps and it would then go back to normal when the ram usage dropped back to the low end of its cycle.
I initially thought it was my mods, so I completely uninstalled minecraft and ran it without mods and it still did the exact same thing except it took longer, longer meaning the ram usage started at 7% go up to 15% then drop and it would gradually keep building using more ram after each cycle. Has anyone else seen this or know of a fix? Any help would be appreciated.

I have updated my graphics card, uninstalled and reinstalled Java 64bit, and uninstalled and reinstalled minecraft. I don't have ram issues in any of the other games I play. I think the problem started with the new Java update that came out a few days ago but i am not positive.
