Hi guys. So I'm having an issue where all my held inventory disappears upon exit of the game and my spawn point gets reset to the world's original spawn point.
The odd thing is that everything I've built, plus all the tunnels I've dug, all remain exactly as I left them and inventory in chests doesn't disappear.
I have never had this problem before, and only seems to have started since I upgraded my Minecraft to 1.7.10.
I also have Magic Loader installed. I am running on lubuntu. This problem has just started and it's very odd. It's almost like the game thinks I'm a new player coming into an already built world when I start, for example my spawn point is the original world spawn point, but things like "keepInventory true" don't reset.
I get no crash or error reports.
Any help you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated.
I guess no-one cares about problems with things like this, I have this exact same problem... and the only mods that I see that I have and that you have is the Pneumaticraft.... I have a nasty feeling that that could be the problem... or it could not be and it might be a but in Forge or Minecraft itself... Have you had any changes or just stopped play minecraft anymore?

Dear PatDaddy13, I believe I have found the problem with this bug. I believe it is how forge handles being launched via an external launcher/with something pached into it. Such as with MagicLauncher, MCPatcher, and Light Loader. if you have not already moved on, a possible (for me, after 3 successful tests) solution!
Simply Launch Minecraft via the normal launcher (it maybe a bit harder to do mods, but if you try, you can get it to work better/just as well) with your forge file, and you should be able to continue your save without loosing your inventory and levels as well as the same spot that you logged out of with!

Hey there. Thanks for doing some investigation into this. I've gone back to using the regular launcher and haven't had a problem yet.
Seems strange that there would be an issue like this between Magic Launcher and Forge and no one has made mention of it before.
I've installed "Too Many Items" to take advantage of the save inventory feature just in case.

not to be a sticler or anything... but I would honestly reccoment NEI, it is much better and has more features. + it has a built in recipe guide in it. and there are quite a few mods that add support so your not having to memorize recipes or look online all the time

Thanks for the tip. I'll look into that mod instead. Cheers!
