Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my computer.
I recently installed ESET NOD32 Anti-virus and for some reason Minecraft takes about 2 minutes to start up. I click "Play" on the launcher and then it gets stuck on "Launching" for that 2 minutes. I can close out the launcher and wait that way as Minecraft will start up anyway. During this period, I cannot open any programs at all. I have to wait for Minecraft to start up before I do anything else.
Now, my computer (laptop) is a pretty high end one. No performance issues occur within the game itself. If you think it has to do with the computer itself, here are the specs:
i7-4700HQ
16GB RAM
750GB HDD
Geforce GTX 760M
What can I do to make Minecraft launch as quickly as it did before?
