On ultra high settings with optifine and no shaders I am getting upwards of 240 FPS. As soon as I throw SEUS into the mix, my FPS drops to an unbelievable 15-20. Are there possible some settings in optifine I need to tweak to allow decent frame rate with shaders? Or is a 220 frame drop common...
Considering 99% of monitors have 60Hz refresh rates, he probably only realistically say a ~40FPS drop. And yes, shaders can crap all over your performance.

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
But even then, 200+ FPS drops are rediculous.
I'd reccomend to not use the shaders mod if it causes you to lag that much.
With an Ultra Shader pack you would need a complete monster to get at least 60.
