i was an avid Minecraft player since alpha but stopped playing about a year ago. i decided to come back. Not much changed except a fancy launcher. Mods are still a pain in the ass to install and run.
To run modded minecraft with no chance of memory crash, i have had allocated 2gigs.
i wanted to try shaders, however, allocating 3gigs only gets it to work kind of. It takes about ten minutes of my computer freezing first. But it isn't very playable. As you will see by my system specs, i dont see how or why this should be happening. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Maybe i need to fix my java install?
