I was playing minecraft when i wanted to do some thing fun so i changed my version from 1.7.10 to 1.0 . I then opened my world and my game crashed so i switched back to 1.7.10 but I had greyish-black spots everywhere three blocks above the ground including dark skies during the day! They won't go away and I don't know how to fix it.

Here are a few things to know

1. I am not using mods

2. I am playing on an iMac

You probably converted it from a superflat world to a normal world when you loaded it in 1.0. Now the game thinks it is a normal world and does the void for as if it was a normal world.

I tried recreating the world as superflat but when i did nothing was there. How do i change my world to superflat without losing it

(PS: whats the void?)
