hi! so apparently no one has help for this and no one has this issue or something? it doesnt show up much :/ anyway~

as u can see from the title, im getting that dreaded error. my computers operating system thingy is windows 8.1 and im still getting used to it (even though im nearly used to it) ive tried looking around the java site to find any links to runtime 1.6.0 but no dice :/ apparently they havent updated their website since like 1982 >:/

any ideas?

edit: i did this thing someone said on a different forum where u uninstall ur java and then reboot and redownload and i did it and now the popup isnt even showing up? its just wont open?

Go to http://java.com/en/download/chrome.jsp And Download and Install the version that appears there, it appears there's always the latest version/Update

um so actually i found something that helped me out and it is this forum!

but besides that, i downloaded the most recent minecraft thing (i think? its the download button on the homepage) and thats what i got? but yeah since i found a solution ill just end it here :I
or not because i dont know how to do that hahahaha
