Ok here's the situation, my old computer (Pentium 4) isn't working, so my dad got one from the school for me, it wasn't necessarily better, so let's just call it a side grade. I got minecraft to work on it, (im trying to get it to work properly in a single player world only atm). Everything is great, except for the fact that: whenever I mine a block or chop down a tree, it takes about 3 or 4 seconds for the block to actually disappear and fall into my inventory. I cannot efficiently play minecraft like this. Is there ANYTHING I can do to solve my problem? I really wan't to start playing minecraft again, I haven't played in a few months and I am undergoing extreme width-drawl symptoms!
With those specs while running Windows 7, you're not going to be playing any games efficiently.
I tried running Windows 7 with 2gb of ram at one point, could barely run Google Chrome with it.
Either get a better computer or use a different OS (With either Linux or Windows XP, you should be able to run Minecraft in a playable state)
