This is a video of my problems.
I tried everything and nothing works. Sometimes the lag is so severe my entire computer crashes. I have 1gb of ram allocated to minecraft. I has a older computer with the same 1GB ram and it never had this problem.
This is as simple as loading chunks, literally. Try loading up some of the latest snapshots of Minecraft. If you are able to reload the chunks and load worlds without this lag-spiking problem, then you can blame it on that and post here.

Not very helpful as minecraft requires new chunks to be loaded whenever you move anywhere.
Single core? Well, then "Multi-core chunk loading" should even show up as an option for you. That threw me off.
With single core you want:
"Smooth" chunk loading + Lazy chunk loading and Smooth world in Performance.
Additionally you might try Dynamic updates (more chunk updates when you're standing still) and Preloaded chunks (Loads more chunks then usual, so it won't have to load chunks as often if you move short distances).
Both of my computers seemed to have the Multi-Core option even though they both have single core processors. Weird. I tried Lazy chunk loading and preloaded chunks they actually seem to slow the game down even more. I disabled Fast Math and most of the chunk loading issues seem to be gone. I still sometimes get lockups in the game where it has a full on freeze and hangs the entire system for a good 10s-1m I think thats system related since I don't have a lot of ram on this system. Thanks.
If anyone else has solutions feel free to post them.

I have a single core processor. I'll try this out however.
I never had this problem on another much more underperforming laptop.
