I can't think of a more suiting place to post this.. Except for maybe a Java Forum, but I figured I could try here first. I just updated my Java with the actual tool provided for doing so but I'm still getting an error from both the Technic Launcher and the Minecraft Launcher when I try to play:
Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine
Error: A fatal exception has occured. Program will exit.
I can't say anything concrete without you actually posting the entire log. You also probably should have posted it on Technic forms.
If I had to guess, based on kinda-sorta similar errors, you installed Java 32 bit with the update tool and are trying to run the Technic Launcher with more then 1GB of RAM, which requires Java 64bit.
That's why you don't use the update tool and grab manual Java installation files.
The reason I used that stupid tool is because my Antivirus doesn't let me manually install Java. Java needs to close it to be installed (apparently) and isn't given permission.
Also, there is no log. Unless it generates without telling me, it's just a Java error message and it stops the game from launching, either leaving the launcher open or reopening it.
And I actually do have 64 bit Java installed. I need both versions because I don't know where to download a 64 bit version of MP3 Rocket Player.

What can I do about this?
