Shaders is an advanced light mapping modification, it converts light into thousands of tiny little particles allowing for a dynamic lighting effect. The particles bounce off of certain objects creating creating reflections on water or absorption on blocks and your character to cause shadows. these little points of light are rendered by your processor. Doesn't mater what processor you have if its, fast at lest 3.0 ghz (yours is 3.9) and has at least 4 cores (you have 6) it will work quite well.
Edit:
By the way, that is almost the exact same computer i have so if you would like i can do some benchmarks for you?

I know this thread might be dead but I went with a custom PC. Everything is built and installed so far except for the graphics card. I ordered it. Should arrive on monday. More or less they (the mail company) did not give an actual estimate
