I saw that on minecraft.gamepedia.com it said I could force update when i start the minecraft launcher. (Not the game!)

When i start it up, you are supposed to press an options button and Force Update! button, but i just can't find a options button.

The new launcher no longer has a 'Force Update' button; it automatically updates the game when you press 'Play'.
