Hi, I hope this is the right section for this question...I am trying to download and install minecraft worldedit, I have watched countless tutorials, and followed them all to the T. .minecraft>Versions> copy 1.7.10 folder and contents> open .jar file> delete meta-inf> open worldedit> copy all files to 1.7.10 jar file. I have even put the worldedit.jar file in the mods folder. I run the profile with the new folder version, but every time I try to type a command like //wand, it says "unknown command, try /help for list of commands" I have also installed single player commands in the same manner. Am I just not installing them correctly? and if so could someone explain it to me easier then what the youtube tutorials do? I'm still kinda new to minecraft when it comes to install anything besides pixelmon lol. Thank you for your time

I had been trying liteloader before but it never seemed to work. I just downloaded it all again for what I do believe is the 4th time lol, and now it seems to be working. Thank you ^_^. Now I am off to try to figure out how to get Multiverse XD

Multiverse is a bukkit plugin not a minecraft mod. If you want to use bukkit plugins you need to run a bukkit server.
Ok so I downloaded bukkit, did all I needed to get that working. but when I try to make my own server it just says "pinging"
I have changed the ip address in the properties to my own ip address, I use that as the address, even tried adding :25565, and also tried localhost. It is set to online mode and everything :/

Ok I changed it to localhost, but it's still not working, also when I go to start the server from the craftbukkit folder, it says [WARNING!] can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded?
does that have anything to do with it?

thats normal
also remember the server has to be running for it to work. you cant connect to the server if the server is not running.
When you try to connect to the server, what does the client say? What does the server log/console say? Can you post your server.properties file here
Finally got it working, I had downloaded the 1.7.10 version but I went through and tried it on all the versions and for some reason it only works on 1.6.4

Therefore you need to install it using liteloader which is located here with instructions.
worldedit is a bukkit plugin not a minecraft mod. For installing in singleplayer use Worldedit Wrapper.

Or are you already using worldedit wrapper?

Don't put anything in server-ip. Use "localhost".
