Hi, I recently built a new pc and want to transfer the world I had on my mac to it. I transferred the saves in the .minecraft folders and the names for the world show up on the list on the new pc, however when I launch the world I spawn in a wall with the items I had on me last time I played, I then die, respawn somewhere new because "my home bed has been destroyed or obstructed" and upon finding my way back to my home coordinates, nothing is there, and even the terrain only looks similar as if it has been regenerated slightly differently then the terrain I had originally built upon. Any assistance would be much appreciated

Are you sure you are using same, unmodded version of minecraft that you used that world in before? Terrain would not change if you simply copied the same world over.

Yes, I downloaded minecraft on the new pc, and then tried to transfer it. No mods, and the original was never modded either and both say no updates are needed

I actually finally just got it to work on my own. I generated a new world on the new pc and then moved the old saves in to the save folder that generated and it worked. Super simple but I just didn't think of it last night. Thanks for the help
