For the F3 button to work and display coordinates on my computer, you have to hold down both the FN key and F3. At which point whenever I try to move using the A S keys it reloads the chunks. F3 plus one of those keys reloads the chunks ( if you did not know), but I can't turn it off.m I'm not even holding F3 at that point. Switching worlds won't work and nothing short of closing minecraft will fix it.

In essence, I can't have the coordinates displayed without reloading the chunks whenever I want to backward or sideways.

Any Ideas?

It even takes a longer than normal time just to turn the coordinates on, requiring me to hold it down for around 5 seconds. Anything?

you don't hold down fn+f3 constantly. You hold fn, press f3, and then release both.

If you still have problems you can switch the keys to use the function rather than the special printed on each key.

It only seems to work when I hold it down. But how do I switch key functions, I can't really see from the picture.

Anything anyone?
