I just bought the game Off the Website and started playing and it started looking quite weird? Do I need to fix something?

It just looks like you have 3D-Anaglyph on. Press esc and go to options and then video settings to turn it off, if that's not the case you might be using the 'super secret settings' just press f4 to disable it.
