Hey guys. Okay, so whenever I start up my Minecraft Launcher the only thing it says whilst starting up at the top of the page is "Bootstrap (v5)"
It shows literally nothing else. Usually there are plenty of lines of code and such, but all it says is that. I really don't know what's wrong with it, and I'm not tech savvy whatsoever. Pleeeaaase help!

Did it ever work? Right now it looks like you don't have a downloaded launcher pack.. when you download 'the launcher' from minecraft.net you are really only get the bootstrap, then it downloads the current launcher pack and starts it. Afterwards it uses that pack until there's an update.
If you don't have a launcher pack then something must be preventing the bootstrapper from downloading one.
