I was making a private modpack for 1.7.2, but decided to go back to 1.6.4 because of a lack of 1.7.2 mods... I deleted all my mods, redownloaded them as 1.6.4, then got this message... The game seemed to run fine until the last lines.

Please attempt to load Minecraft without OptiFine, if that gives a different error, please post that here.

If it gives the same error, please remove (not delete, just move to a temporary location) all mods, redownload and reinstall Forge 965, start the game ONCE. Once it has loaded, try loading the mods in without OptiFine. If it works, then please don't install OptiFine over it.

Ran fine with no mods, but with a "Re-Installed" Forge. Not sure if i reinstalled/deleted it right because it said i still had a version of minecraft forge ready to use with 1.6.4 (This was after i deleted it, but had not reinstalled). Is it correct to delete from the Versions file to remove profiles?

Good, so I did that right... Any advice on how to get the mods to work? I can write a list of what i'm using if needed. (You might have been able to tell from the logs and stuffs, but I don't know if it said all of them)

Did you try them without OptiFine? If that works, I suggest you not use OptiFine with Forge ever again.

Not quite sure if its a different result than with optifine. Also, i have a crap computer so i kinda need optifine. If its a conflict between optifine and another... then optifine stays... Optifine=Top Priority Mod= Not Removing Ever Never Ever

Weird, sorry I made you reinstall it, it got the same error. How are you installing OptiFine, I am not seeing any of it in the logs. You only have to put it in the mods folder now.

Try using just OptiFine with Forge, testing, adding two or three mods, testing, etc.

EDIT: Didn't even notice it, are you using the proper version of CodeChickenCore? It isn't CodeChickenCore dev, it is the universal.

When im playing vanilla, i use the normal optifine installer. When modded (this error) I simply throw it in with the rest. It worked fine in my 1.7.2 pack, but now i cant seem to do that. I did downgrade optifine to 1.6.4, so thats not the issue...

This is might not be the issue, but i have -XX:-OmitStackTraceInFastThrow in my JVM arguments. Don't ask why i put it there i just followed what open eye told me in 1.7.2

Awesome. Just barely noticed that too... was looking through my mods to see if it was some strange plugin, but i saw DEV for NEI. Also, i think carpenters blocks may be Dev?

Where have you installed OptiFine? It should go straight into the mods folder.

Right into the mods folder, yes. Got both to work by using a different version of optifine, but i can only set my render distance to 16 instead of 6 Oh well, good enough. Thanks!
