So recently i logged into Minecraft and about three seconds after I opened my world, a window popped up saying "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working". Any ideas on how to fix this? And would you mind being a bit thorough? I'm not the best with computers.

I love how the EO battle themes go on for a couple of minutes like normal and then after a while they are just like 'Ah nobody's going to be in a normal battle for this long anyway, fack it, GUITAR SOLOS!' Cracks me up.
So in order to be thorough, I believe this is a RAM issue. RAM stands for random access memory. Programs use this to boost performance and make them run smoother. I cannot be more thorough unless I can know more about the issue. The problem also may be that Java can't keep up. Does your minecraft menu and the server list etc work without lag?

You just search %appdata% then go into the roaming folder right?

daheck are you trying to do? we just need the log, log isn't anything fancy and encrypted, I think it's the same as .txt.
if it ends in .gz (gz is Gzip) then it is compressed, you need to uncompress it with something.

i found a solution. create a new world then play around in it then you can delete it. it worked for me, after i made a new world and played around the message stopped popping out
