I have a sort of 'tick lag' on my bigger singleplayer worlds and don't really know how to go about fixing it. Here's a video example of what I mean:
The first world shows a redstone timer working in a sort of slow-mo, and the second shows the same timer working at normal speed. My FPS is fine, but I can hit a sheep and then run a circle around it before it hits the ground, and pressure plate doors and other redstone circuitry works at half speed.
Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this problem when it seems to be on a per-world basis?

That is a bug with the snapshot. I'm sure it will be fixed soon.
