I stopped playing Minecraft a while ago due to the immense lag I experienced in any "PvP" server. Now that I have beaten Earthbound gotten bored of everything else in the world, I am interested in once again, crawling back to Minecraft.
But my previous problem was never solved, my computer is crap. I plan on building a new desktop designed to maximize my Minecraft experience. I plan on using it for mostly Minecraft, possibly some recording in the distant future, a little bit of school work, and I will likely use it for maybe playing some illegal SNES or N64 emulators or something. My top priority is Minecraft, everything else comes after. (naturally)
Oh yeah, my question:
What are the computer requirements needed to play computer demanding Minecraft (multiplayer) at a minimum of 60 FPS (The higher the better). My budget ranges anywhere from 400 to (likely) 600 dollars. Is it even possibly to get that framerate for that price? What is the most FPS I can get for $600?
-I am not experienced in computer building, but I hear it is just like an extreme Lego set.
-New monitor, keyboard, and mouse not necessary.
And if this is the wrong place to post this kind of stuff, please kindly redirect me to the right place so I may copy/paste it this there. I'm not entirely familiar with the ways of the "Minecraft Forum"
Have a nice day.
EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm not experienced in computer building, but I still want to build a new one.
Well with my experience of my computer, I have a ASUS AMD Radeon R7 260X Direct CU II OC 2GB and it plays minecraft over 60fps they go for around $130.
