I decided I wanted to update minecraft and play again after about seven months. I try to double click the same launcher that worked before when I played last, but nothing happens. No task appears to even think about starting in the task manager.
I deleted the old Minecraft.exe and downloaded a newer one from the website. I go to open it, and it's the exact same thing. No error comes up, no task tries to start, my computer is acting as if nothing is even there.
I went and deleted .minecraft from my files, and then tried to double click on Minecraft.exe, and it still is doing nothing.
Again, when I last played minecraft, it worked perfectly fine and I never touched it since, so I really have no idea why it's derping on me. Any ideas?
