I'm on Windows 8.1, on a computer that used to run XP. I have Java 7 U65. It's an HP ProBook 4510s with an Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family graphics card. When I went to update the driver I got this: http://imgur.com/a/g1Xms. The download is only for up to Win7, and did not work when I tried to install it. I'm assuming that there are no Windows 8 drivers for my graphics card because of how old it is, so my question is really just whether or not there's any way to make my computer play Minecraft?

Retired StaffYou're welcome to try, however we will not provide support. Windows XP is no longer supported.
Would a Windows 7 Virtual Machine work?
Maybe try this http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/references/intel-4-series-chipsets/ it worked for me
http://www.ubuntu.com/
And if I may suggest you install XUbuntu, its very lightweight and the desktop software does not need or use video acceleration like normal ubuntu.
