I tried to install optifine but it just show me this error

Version of Minecraft: 1.6.4/1.7.2/1.7.10, etc.

Version of Forge: 965 (This is the last string of numbers, usually found at the end of the file name for Forge.)

Using Bukkit or MCPC(+): Yes/No

Using Optifine: Yes/No

Version of OptiFine: Numbers

Using Shader-type mods: Yes/No

4. I tried to install it but doesn't work and had not installed it before.

Can you remove optifine, start up Minecraft Version 1.7.10, then install the latest optifine for that.

I've just reinstalled minecraft 1.7.9 and I have the option to select the mod now but now minecraft won't start just the launcher.

I extracted it but doesn't work again when it's supposed to

i got it now working with 1.7.9 it's really beautiful with it
