So I recently installed Too Many Items 1.7.9 and OptiFine 1.7.9. OptiFine works, fine, but the only reason I installed Too Many Items was for fast crafting. No matter what buttons I hit I cant fast craft using 1.7.9 mod. Is there a button I am missing or is there a different version I can use that still has fast crafting? I play on servers that are all 1.7.6-1.7.9 (not sure if that affects anything). Is there a way I can use 1.7.9 OptiFine with, for example, 1.6.5 Too Many Items (not being 100% litteral, just an example). Please help if you can, thank you.

Does TMI show up? It is right-click to fast craft in all recent versions of TMI. Make sure you installed it in your mods folder, not into the jar.

It only spawns items or if im on a server it says I dont have access to that command. Maybe it can be something else? Its in my mods folder.

Go to settings and put it in recipe mode

press E to open the inventory then in the corner it say settings just click there and look for it remember is on your inventory E

I litterly dont have anything that says settings or anything like that. All I got for clickable buttons are:
Survival, Creative, Adventure,Rain/snow on off, Time sets, then the items on the right side. No settings anywhere

For fast crafting, right click the output square when crafting.

Also, Minecraft has a built in version of this. Shift + Left Click the output square.

The "fast crafting" I mean is in TMI. What it does it puts all the needed items, to craft the item, in the work bench for you. So for example if I needed to make a pickaxe it would put my sticks and wood/stone/iron/etc in the work bench for me.

Ya its killing me :/ Only mods I run is OptiFine and Too Many Items. The texture pack I run is Sphax PureBDcraft

Can you replicate this problem without OptiFine? I really would recommend not using TooManyItems, as it doesn't have as much utility as NotEnoughItems.

Then right click the output square. There is literally no major difference.

Fast crafting is from NEI, not TMI.

To fast craft with NEI, you just have to look up the recipe, then hold shift and click the box with a question mark (In lower right).

just get nei and then go to options and change to recipe mode and then search up what you want and finally hold shift and click on the little question mark
