I just downloaded Forge for Minecraft version 1.7.10. The launcher loaded right after I downloaded it but after I restarted my computer, the launcher just says loading but never seems to load. If anybody can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Right now, Forge 1.7.10 is somewhat in beta/experimental, so I wouldn't recommend using it until it is confirmed that it is working. Sorry about that. There are plenty of mods in 1.7.9 and below though. (I recommend 1.7.2 if you want to stick to 1.7)

Im not shure how to fix the problem with out a log but you could back up your saves and delete the .minecraft folder and re install it. heres a good tut for forge

Thanks. That worked. I will checkout the tutorial. It seems like there isn't a whole lot of stuff for version 1.7.10 yet.

Yes, if you can avoid it, 1.7.2 is the way to go right now (1.6.4 is even better). 1.7.10 comes chock-full of rendering bugs and inconsistent syntax.

Would I have to download a lower version?
