You may need to reinstall the locally installed files that Minecraft puts into place.
To do so, press your Windows+R keys, type in %AppData% at the dialog, and press Enter. In the window that appears, open the .minecraft directory, and delete everything except for the saves directory that you see therein.
I tried doing what you said, but I am using a Macbook Air, and I don't know what you mean by pressing the Windows+R keys. I pressed the command + R, option/alt. + r, control + r, and fn + r keys but nothing's happening! Please reply soon; I'm extremely frustrated.
HRHelephant777, you know how to get into the .minecraft settings right? that's what you do. so I don't know Apple products, but it is in the folders section, at the top right %appdata% and there should be .minecraft somewhere in there. than delete everything but the Saves file.
go to the tool bar that is on top of the desktop. Then click go. then click Go to Folder after that type ~/Library after that go to the application support folder. Scroll down till you find the minecraft folder. open it. drag the saves folder to your desktop then delete your mine craft folder and launcher mine craft again and quit it. after that go again to the mine craft folder and drag the save file from your desktop to the mine craft folder and click replace and you are good to go
Okay guys it fixed! I just checked the Launcher right now, but I went to my grandmother's house, and it just let me log in there! Thanks for the useful suggestions, even if I didn't need them, but I really appreciate that you could help me!

Then, try running Minecraft again. Good luck!
