The java client has this as the string, would appreciate advice on how to fix this.

irst, go to the Programs and Features in Control Panel. Uninstall everything that says Java in the name. Then, go to http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp to re-install Java.

Your system is 32bit so you do not need to (can't) get the 64bit version.
