So, I have tried numerous ways to allocate more ram to Minecraft, and lately, they all seem to not be working. It's very bothersome as my client likes to crash if I'm on a server for more than an hour with that little amount of RAM allocated (455 MB). Images of the issue can be found on imgur here (opens in new tab).
Anyway, I'll try to explain it a bit as well. I allocate more RAM to Minecraft in the JVM arguments several different ways, I am indeed using 64 bit Java 7 update 65 (the current latest version). I have tried a restart and everything yet it doesn't seem to want to actually allocate it in the game.
Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

[FIX]: So a reinstall of the launcher (not minecraft itself, but minecraft.exe and deleting my .minecraft folder) fixed the issue
