My daughter would like the furniture mod. Anyway, she found some instructions on Youtube by CraftStones which explained pretty well how to go about getting it. However, a third of way through the video the webpage had changed...so the rest of the video was pretty much useless for me.
So I downloaded Forge and by a miracle managed to install it. (We have Minecraft 1.7.10).
When I tried to follow the instructions for downloading the furniture Mod I ended up with downloading Setup ODM.
So I have some questions:
1) What is Setup ODM...is it relevant?
2) Can someone provide a direct link to the Download, please?
3) I have read conflicting instructions on whether this mod is available for Minecraft 1.7.10. Is it compatible?
4) If I need Minecraft 1.7.2. How do I update our current minecraft?
5) If I update, will I lose my daughters current minecraft world?
6) I am 43...way too old to understand tech stuff! Make it simple.
7) Oh one last thing...is there a lot of hidden virus-y stuff in the download?
As for ODM (the acronym stands for Open Download Manager), I am afraid that there are several reports that indicate that it contains viruses and other kinds of nasty malware, I would recommend scanning the computer with an antivirus if you opened the downloaded file.
