I can't connect via LAN. I used to be able too. I have Vanilla MC with Forge installed. We also have the technit launcher. We can't connect on LAN with either. I can connect to servers though.
I am running Win 8.1. There have been a few changes since we last played together. First, I'm using windows defender instead of Norton and I now have the desktop connected to the router with a wire instead of connecting over the wifi.
