So I just finished building my computer (not getting video card until christmas) and completely set it up. I got Minecraft on it and it has lower fps than my old 2008 laptop... The CPU for my desktop is a 4670k (3.4GHz), I have 8GB of RAM, I dedicated 1GB towards the integrated gpu, and somehow it gets bad framerates... My old laptop has a Core 2 Duo (2.2GHz) and an Ati Mobility Radeon 4650 HD with only 512MB towards the gpu, and 4GB of RAM. I did my research and the Intel HD 4600 is supposed to be better than the Mobility Radeon 4650 HD. Running optifine with fullscreen Minecraft gets me less than or equal to 60fps on my desktop, but on my laptop I get 80+ fps
It would be great if somebody can help me with this issue that I'm having.
P.S. I run better fps in other games compared to my laptop, this issue is just Minecraft.

Nothing is worse than intel hd for minecraft bro. You're just gonna have to live with it, use the laptop if you can.

Sort of fixed the fps problem. I enabled Intel Virtu and set it to "d mode" and it turns out I didn't save the configuration when I gave my integrated graphics more memory.
