Usually I have no issues loading minecraft up but ive been working on my server mods and was testing to make sure they run fine..... but when i get into the world..... well you can see the outcome in the pictures fps...
specs
windows 8.1
8gb ram (4gb allocated to mc as u can see)
ati radeon 8510G HD GPU
A8 quad core 1.7ghz
i usually would keep my render distance to "far" even in optifine and i even went as far as to try tiny render while it had no impact on my fps... my fps goes up to 22-39 when im in a menu but soon as i exit it plummets back to 2-5fps

From these specs I'm assuming you're using a laptop. So most likely Minecraft is running on your APU instead of your GPU. And that APU is kind of crap, graphically. Open your Catalyst Control Center and set everything you can to "High Performance" for Minecraft/Java, or better yet globally.
Seriously, I've got a way older rig and I'm getting up to 110 FPS with Optifine. So it's almost certainly the default mult-GPU laptop problem.
in catalyst i have it set to custom and performance already and it always has been set to performance... im not one to be greedy with graphics i always prefer max frames... a fluent game over some power hungry game like skyrims maximum settings, or call of duty....
it just recently started doing this so possibly could be matthews comment about too many mods... i would get 60+fps when i only had 45ish mods :/ will try removing a couple...
as to the comment about my gpu sucking.... it must not be that bad if i can run black ops 2 at more than playable frames per sec.... and bo2 may be slightly older but its graphics are pretty good so i assume it requires a bit of power to run it imho it can also run tera as well...another graphic induced game
Like I said, I don't think 8510G is bad (if a bit weak within it's series). But the level of performance you claim to get strongly suggests your Minecraft is running on the APU instead of the Radeon.
idk how else to draw out its power then/switch out :/ i thought i had it set correctly but maybe something changed it.... but the settings at performance so idk what else is needed so...
ill also try removing some mods as 2 have suggested makes me sad though if that is indeed the problem.... so many good mods ;-;

seems too many mods is possibly the case.... i went from 97 to 80 and have 20-22fps which is playable but still sucks that it took me deleting some mods i love </3 didnt realize just how power consuming mc can be :/

Your graphics card really sucks :/
You have too many mods loaded.

Solution 2: Maybe there's something wrong with one of your mods, try to find out which one and go into your mods folder and take it out.
