I use windows 8 on a gateway laptop that can run Minecraft.

When i open my Minecraft Launcher it say's this

Please fix the error and restart.



Also when i run the website on my browser it say this

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at s3.amazonws.com.

Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Try reinstalling/updating java making sure it's in the correct bit-format (32-bit/64-bit), as it says several times in the report. If that does not work, here is something that may help:

Many people with this issue that I've seen have had their date/time set incorrectly on their computer. Make sure that your PC's date/time isn't set incorrectly.

i did reinstall java and my time is now correct but it is not working!:(
